- Upacara Pitutur Jumat Kliwon adalah ritual dakwah yang bertujuan menyampaikan nilai-nilai Aliran Kebatinan "PERJALANAN" kepada penghayatnya, serta mewariskan pengetahuan kepada generasi mendatang. Penelitian ini berfokus pada makna simbolik dan nilai spiritual dalam upacara tersebut di Cibabat, Kota Cimahi, dengan menggunakan teori interpretatif simbolik dari Clifford Geertz. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, serta studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna simbolik dalam upacara ini sangat terkait dengan kehidupan manusia dan sejarah diri. Peneliti menemukan berbagai makna simbolik, termasuk simbol benda pada sesajen, simbol tindakan dalam tata cara ritual, dan simbol peristiwa yang menggambarkan hari Jumat Kliwon. Melalui analisis menggunakan teori Notonegoro, ditemukan nilai-nilai spiritual seperti religius, estetika, moral, dan kebenaran. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman yang lebih dalam mengenai keragaman spiritualitas di Indonesia, serta memperkaya kajian antropologi dan studi kebudayaan.
- The Pitutur Jumat Kliwon ceremony is a missionary ritual aimed at conveying the values of the Aliran Kebatinan "PERJALANAN" tradition to its adherents, as well as passing down knowledge to future generations. This study focuses on the symbolic meanings and spiritual values within the ceremony in Cibabat, Cimahi City, utilizing Clifford Geertz's interpretive symbolic theory. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques which includes participatory observation, unstructured interviews, and literature and documentation studies. The findings indicate that the symbolic meanings in this ceremony are closely related to human life and personal history. The researcher identified various symbolic meanings, including the objects in the offerings, the actions in the ritual procedures, and the events that characterize the Friday Kliwon day. Through analysis using Notonegoro's theory, spiritual values such as religiosity, aesthetics, morality, and truth were discovered. This research is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of the diversity of spirituality in Indonesia and enrich anthropological and cultural studies.
