Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi serta menerapkan strategi Tata
Kelola yang efektif dalam pengelolaan produksi dan distribusi dalam sebuah film pendek
berjudul “Beneath The Surface Of The Mind’s Eye”. Film tersebut memiliki genre Horor
Psikolog yang mengangkat perjalanan seorang wanita yang terperangkap dalam
kesendirian emosionalnya, mencari kedamaian dan mengusir kesepian dengan
mengkoleksi foto wajah-wajah orang mati. Dan pada film mengandung isu mengenai
Kesehatan mental yang memiliki bagian penting dari kesejahteraan individu dan
masyarakat yang tidak bisa diabaikan.Produser dalam penelitian tersebut melakukan
berbagai rangkaian tugas yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengendalian,
dan pengkontrolan seluruh aspek produksi dan distribusi film. Proses produksi dilakukan
melalui tahapan pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi yang masing-masing
membutuhkan pengelolaan waktu, anggaran, dan sumber daya manusia yang optimal.
Selain itu, distribusi film pendek ini direncanakan secara strategis dan terstruktur agar
dapat menjangkau target penonton yang lebih luas baik melalui platform digital maupun
konvensional.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengendalian yang
tepat dalam setiap tahapan produksi sangat berperan dalam memastikan kelancaran dan
kesesuaian hasil akhir dengan visi kreatif film. Selain itu strategi distribusi yang terencana
juga membantu film pendek “Beneath The Surface Of The Mind’s Eye” mencapai target
penonton yang lebih luas serta mendukung upaya pelestarian budaya melalui karya audio
visual. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran Produser dalam
strategi pengendalian produksi dan distribusi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap
keberhasilan film tersebut.

This study aims to identify and implement effective governance strategies in the
management of production and distribution for a short film titled “Beneath The Surface Of
The Mind’s Eye.” The film belongs to the psychological horror genre and tells the story of a
woman trapped in emotional solitude, seeking peace and trying to dispel her loneliness by
collecting photographs of the faces of the dead. The film also addresses the issue of mental
health, which is an essential component of individual and societal well-being that cannot be
overlooked.The producer in this study carries out a series of tasks that include planning,
organizing, controlling, and supervising all aspects of the film's production and distribution.
The production process is carried out through the stages of pre-production, production, and
post-production, each of which requires optimal management of time, budget, and human
resources. In addition, the distribution strategy for this short film is designed systematically
and structurally to reach a wider target audience, both through digital platforms and
conventional distribution channels.The results of the study show that appropriate control
strategies at each stage of production play a vital role in ensuring the smoothness of the
process and the alignment of the final result with the film's creative vision. Moreover, a wellplanned
distribution strategy contributes to expanding the film’s audience reach while
supporting cultural preservation through audiovisual works. Therefore, this study concludes
that the producer's role in production and distribution control strategies has a significant
impact on the film's success
