Skripsi ini membahas pengembangan konsep dan peran tokoh ‘Marie Pattiwael’ dalam naskah ‘Jam Dinding Yang Berdetak’ Karya Nano Riantiarno, skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses penciptaan karakter secara mendalam dengan fokus pada metode dan teknik pemeranan yang digunakan untuk menghidupkan tokoh Marie di atas panggung. Proses yang dilalui mencakup tahap eksplorasi, persiapan diri, pendalam karakter, pengembangan klimaks, dan tempo dramatik. Pertunjukan ini diawali dengan analisis naskah, dilanjutkan dengan proses latihan seperti olah tubuh, olah vocal, ekspresi.

This thesis discusses the development of the concept and role of the character ‘Marie Pattiwael in the play ‘Jam Dinding Yang Berdetak by Nano Riantiarno’. The aim of this thesis is to explore the character in depth by examining the acting methods and techniques used to bring the character of marie to life on tage. The Marie to life on stage. The processes such as exploration, self preparation, character development, building a climax, and dramatic tempo. The performance began with script analysis, followed by rehearsal processes such as physical training, voval traiing, and expression exercises.
