Penelitian ini berfokus pada penciptaan cocktail dress aplikasi teknik embllishment
berbentuk sayap kupu-kupu jenis Silvery Blue. Hal ini didasarkan pada pengamatan
emperik bahwa jarang dijumpai cocktail dress yang terinspirasi dari kupu-kupu yang
berwarna silver dan biru elektrik di Indonesia. Silvery Blue memiliki bentuk visual
dengan sayap sederhana yang indah estetis juga memiliki ciri warna biru elektrik yang
selaras dengan konsep penciptaan cocktail dress. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tujuan
penciptaan karya ini adalah untuk menghadirkan kebaruan bentuk cocktail dress
bernilai estetis yang terinspirasi dari kupu-kupu silvery blue dalam ranah inovasi dan
kreatifitas pada bidang fashion Indonesia. Adapun metode yang digunakan untuk
penciptaan karya ini adalah metode Hawkins yang dimodifikasi oleh Soedarsono yaitu
eksplorasi, eksperimentasi, perwujudan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari penciptaan busana ini
berjumlah lima cocktail dress yang disajikan pada event Miss Teenager Indonesia 2024
di Surabaya pada tanggal 1 November 2024.

This research focuses on the creation of a cocktail dress using the Silvery Blue butterfly
wing-shaped embellishment technique. This is based on empirical observations that it
is rare to find cocktail dresses inspired by silver and electric blue butterflies in
Indonesia. Silvery Blue has a visual form with simple, aesthetically beautiful wings and
also has the characteristic of an electric blue color that is in harmony with the concept
of creating a cocktail dress. Based on this, the purpose of creating this work is to
present a new form of an aesthetic cocktail dress inspired by the silvery blue butterfly
in the realm of innovation and creativity in the Indonesian fashion sector. The method
used to create this work is the Hawkins method modified by Soedarsono, namely
exploration, experimentation, manifestation and evaluation. The results of this fashion
creation amounted to five cocktail dresses presented at the Miss Teenager Indonesia
2024 event in Surabaya on November 1, 2024.
