- Penciptaan karya ini didasari oleh riset mengenai keberlanjutan yang semakin disadari akan kepentingannya dalam dunia fashion. Konsep recycle diangkat karena limbah fashion yang menjadi salah satu penyumbang limbah terbesar di dunia. Penciptaan busana ini mengeksplorasi teknik crochet dan embellishment dengan konsep recycle (daur ulang) dalam perancangan ready to wear yang bergaya cottagecore. Teknik crochet menjadi trend di industri fashion dengan motif, tekstur dan detail yang unik untuk menciptakan sebuah desain. Tujuan perancangan busana ini untuk menambah bentuk visual pada ready to wear yang ramah lingkungan dan menghadirkan estetika berkesan lembut serta romantis melalui teknik kerajinan tangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam perwujudan karya ini yaitu metode Three Stage Desain Process yang berisi problem definition & research, creative exploration, dan implementation. Hasil proses pengkaryaan ini berupa 4 (empat) ready to wear bergaya cottagecore melalui aplikasi teknik crochet dan embellishment yang disajikan pada event Bandung Fashion Runaway tanggal 30 April 2025 di studio I TVRI Jawa Barat.
- The creation of this work is based on research concerning sustainability, which is increasingly recognized as essential in the fashion world. The concept of recycling was chosen due to the significant contribution of fashion waste to global pollution. This fashion design explores crochet and embellishment techniques with a recycling concept in the creation of ready-to-wear deluxe pieces in a cottagecore style. Crochet techniques have become a trend in the fashion industry, offering unique patterns, textures, and details to create distinctive designs. The purpose of this fashion design is to enhance the visual form of environmentally friendly ready-to-wear deluxe clothing, presenting a soft and romantic aesthetic through handcrafted techniques.The method used in the realization of this work is the Three-Stage Design Process, which includes problem definition & research, creative exploration, and implementation. The outcome of this creative process is a collection of four (4) ready-to-wear deluxe outfits in cottagecore style, utilizing crochet and embellishment techniques, showcased at the Bandung Fashion Runway event on April 30, 2025, at the TVRI West Java Studio.
