Membangun ketegangan dalam editing menjadi fokus penting pada naskah yang berlatar persiapan pementasan teater. Maka dari itu, tulisan berfokus lebih dalam pada bagaimana konsep ritme editing lamban menciptakan ketegangan subjek dan juga ruang reflektif. Penulisan bertujuan agar mengetahui bagaimana cara merumuskan konsep editing melalui ritme, color grading dan design audio, menjadi kesatuan untuk mengikat naratif dan konsep film. Melalui tahap penelitian kualitatif untuk merangkum data agar pada tahap penciptaan karya berjalan lancar, baik dari pra produksi, produksi, hingga permainan editor pada tahap pasca produksi. Dengan permasalahan yang telah terangkai, penggunaan ritme editing lamban memberikan efek ruang reflektif baik bagi karakter film dan pada hasil akhir film. Namun, sebagai editor selain menggunakan perasaan ketika berkarya perlunya mengantisipasi dari tahap pra produksi agar film sejalan dengan visi artistik sutradara.

Building tension in editing becomes a key focus in a script set against the backdrop of theater performance preparation. Therefore, this writing delves deeper into how the concept of slow-paced editing rhythm creates subject tension as well as a reflective space. The aim of this study is to understand how to formulate an editing concept through rhythm, color grading, and audio design, integrating them into a cohesive unit that binds the narrative and film concept. Through qualitative research methods, data is gathered to ensure a smooth creative process from pre-production, production, to the editor’s craftsmanship in post-production. With the identified issues, the use of a slow editing rhythm creates a reflective space for both the film’s characters and the final outcome. However, as an editor, beyond relying on instinct in the creative process, it is also necessary to anticipate and prepare from the pre-production stage to ensure alignment with the director’s artistic vision.
