Description

Pelecehan seksual inses merupakan kekerasan seksual yang ada pada ruang lingkup keluarga. Secara umum, inses dikategorikan menjadi dua kategori yaitu parental inses yang diartikan hubungan seksual orang tua dan anak, sedangkan sibling inses yaitu hubungan antara saudara kandung. Kategori parental inces merupakan perbuatan yang berat dikarenakan danya kekuasan dari orang tua yang kuat. Dampak pelecehan seksual inses sangat berdampak berbahaya bagi korban, dimana seorang anak akan merasa tidak berharga, menciptakan rasa marah dan benci terhadap pelaku, merasakan kecemasan atau ketidakamanan di rumah bahkan hingga trauma yang berkelanjutan dengan bahasa ilmiah rape trauma syndrome (RTS). Fenomana kasus pelecehan seksual inses ini akan menjadi isu yang melatarbelakangi terciptanya karya film naratif berjudul "What They Dont Know About Me". Dengan mengambil penceritaan dari sudut pandang karakter utama yang bercerita tentang perjuangan seorang remaja perempuan melawan ketakutan dan traumanya. Film ini akan menggunakan pendekaan realis untuk menggambarkan secara nyata terhadap isu yang diangkat dan tema sosial serta perjuangan. Ide ini memiliki kekuatan dengan menitikberatkan karakter kepada aktor untuk menghadirkan realitas dari isu tersebut sehingga menciptakan emosional dan pesan efektif kepada penonton. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan wawancara terhadap yang mengetahui dan dekat dengan isu inses. Selain itu, proses penelitian dibantu dengan studi pustaka dan kajian karya dari materi buku, jurnal dan film yang mendekati isu maupun tema yang sama. Metode penciptaan yang dipakai terdiri dari empat tahapan: Pengembangan Ide dan riset, pra produksi, produksi hingga pasca produksi. Film ini mencoba menerapkan pendekatan realis untuk menguatkan karakter, sehingga pesan sosial dan perjuangan karakter bisa sampai kepada penonton. Dengan menggunakan naratif yang mendekati realitas dengan menghadirkan aspek sinematik yang mendekati realis seperti pengambilan gambar longtake membuat adegan yang karakter mainkan terasa nyata dan penonton merasa masuk ke dalam penceritaan dan mengikuti setiap pergerakan karakter

Incestuous sexual abuse is a form of sexual violence that occurs within the family environment. Generally, incest is categorized into two types: parental incest, which refers to sexual relations between a parent and a child, and sibling incest, which involves sexual relations between siblings. The category of parental incest is considered more severe due to the strong power held by the parent.The impact of incestuous sexual abuse is extremely harmful to the victim, where a child may feel worthless, develop feelings of anger and hatred toward the perpetrator, experience anxiety or insecurity at home, and even suffer from prolonged trauma, clinically known as rape trauma syndrome (RTS). This phenomenon of incestuous sexual abuse serves as the underlying issue for the creation of a narrative film titled "What They Don’t Know About Me." The story is told from the perspective of the main character, focusing on the struggle of a teenage girl as she fights against her fears and trauma.The film will use a realist approach to realistically depict the issue raised, along with its social themes and the character’s struggle. This idea is powerful because it emphasizes the character through the actor to present the reality of the issue, thereby creating an emotional and effective message for the audience.The research method used is qualitative, employing interviews with individuals knowledgeable about and close to the issue of incest. Additionally, the research process is supported by literature studies and analyses of books, journals, and films that address similar issues or themes. The creative process consists of four stages: idea development and research, pre-production, production, and post-production.The film will attempt to apply a realist approach to strengthen the characters, so that the social message and the character’s struggle can reach the audience. By using a narrative that closely approaches reality and incorporating cinematic aspects that are realist—such as long take shots—the scenes performed by the characters feel authentic, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the storytelling and follow every movement of the characters.
