- Perkembangan industri fashion saat ini tidak hanya menuntut keindahan visual dan inovasi, tetapi juga mendorong adanya nilai keberlanjutan, kultural, dan kekayaan lokal yang dapat diangkat melalui karya desain. Telah banyak produk fashion yang terinspirasi dari flora, salah satunya bunga bangkai suweg, bunga bangkai suweg menjadi inspirasi dan belum banyak desainer yang mengaplikasikan bunga bangkai suweg ini ke dalam busana ready to wear deluxe. Proses desain dan produksi dilakukan dengan mengaplikasikan teknik bordir dan beading untuk memberikan detail yang elegan dan bernilai seni tinggi pada setiap busana. Koleksi busana yang dihasilkan mencerminkan keindahan alam dan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar evening gown. Koleksi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap perkembangan industri mode Indonesia sekaligus memperkenalkan kekayaan budaya lokal di kancah internasional. Adapun metode penciptaan karya ini menggunakan metode Practice-Led Research Gustian Rachmadi yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu pra perancangan, perancangan, perwujudan dan penyajian. Hasil proses penciptaan karya ini berupa lima karya ready to wear deluxe yang disajikan dalam bentuk fashion show di TVRI Jabar.
- The development of the fashion industry today not only demands visual beauty and innovation, but also encourages the value of sustainability, culture, and local wealth that can be raised through design works. There have been many fashion products inspired by flora, one of which is the suweg corpse flower, the suweg corpse flower is an inspiration and not many designers have applied this suweg corpse flower to readyto-wear deluxe clothing. The design and production process is carried out by applying embroidery and beading techniques to provide elegant details and high artistic value to each garment. The resulting fashion collection reflects the beauty of nature and to meet the needs of the evening gown market. This collection is expected to contribute to the development of the Indonesian fashion industry while introducing local cultural wealth to the international scene. The method of creating this work uses the Gustian Practice-Led Research method which consists of four stages, namely pre-design, design, manifestation and presentation. The results of the creation process of this work are five ready-to-wear deluxe works presented in the form of a fashion show on TVRI Jabar.
